The four-time NEC Special Teams Player of the Week winner set a Northeast Conference and Wagner record by drilling a 54-yard field goal in a 25-17 loss to Sacred Heart on Saturday. The 54-yarder is the second longest in I-AA football this season. Czech topped the previous conference standard set by Wagner’s Blake Abbot in 2001. The Keyport, NJ native was also perfect on his point-after-attempts (2-2). As a punter, Czech kicked six times for an average of 38.3 and twice placed Sacred Heart inside its own 20 yardline. On kickoffs, Czech collected two tackles.
