Wengert tied a career-high with nine tackles in a 45-13 victory over Saint Francis (PA) on Saturday, including three solo stops. The junior linebacker also recorded two pass breakups at the line of scrimmage and one tack-for-loss. The Kempton, PA native helped seal the conference victory for Robert Morris by intercepting Red Flash quarterback Anthony Doria and rumbling 20 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter to give Robert Morris a commanding 31-13 advantage. On the season, Wengert ranks fifth on the Colonials defense in tackles (24) and earns his first career NEC Defensive Player of the Week award.
