Turner, who earns his first career NEC Offensive Player of the Week award, helped the Seahawks bounce out to an early halftime lead, catching a 64-yard touchdown pass in Wagner’s first play of their second possession. Wagner toppled Saint Peter’s, 34-0, and gave the Seahawks a 4-0 mark for the first time since 1995 (pre-NEC). Turner’s first touchdown was the longest catch in the senior’s career. The Syracuse, NY product, who also caught a 19-yard scoring pass on Wagner’s first drive of the second half, now has 30 career touchdown catches, including five this season. Turner ended the day with five receptions for 111 yards. Turner currently ranks fourth all-time in the NEC in career receptions (176) and third in career receiving yards (2,441).
