Davis made her first career goal a memorable one as she recorded the game-winner in the 62nd minute of the Blackbirds’ 1-0 win over Binghamton on Sunday. Davis, who hails from San Francisco, sprinted up the middle of the field for 35 yards, then slid a pass to Christina O’Connor on the left side just inside the 18-yard box. O’Connor deposited the ball back to Davis for the game-winning header. The win extended Long Island’s home unbeaten streak to 20 games. LIU is 19-0-1 and has not been defeated on its home turf since October 19, 2003.
