Blasinsky relieved starting quarterback Daniel Bocangera on the final series of the opening half and then completed 9-of-16 passes for 108 yards and one touchdown. Blasinsky threw a 34-yard scoring pass to flanker Mike Wall with 14:08 remaining in the fourth quarter. Blasinsky became the first true freshman quarterback to play in a game for the Great Danes since Marcus Rotondi in 1998 and the first true freshman to throw a touchdown pass since Nov. 11, 1994 (Joe Savino vs. William Paterson).
