Williams was named to the LIU Soccer Classic All-Tournament team after scoring his first career goal and assisting on another in the Blackbirds’ 2-0 conquest of NJIT on Sunday. He tickled the twines 15 minutes into the contest on a shot from the top of the box, then assisted on Ryan Vanderkin’s tally that iced the game in the 81st minute. A local recruit from Brooklyn, Williams is tied for second on the team with four points (one goal, two assists).
