Rand picked up two complete game wins as the Hawks went 3-1 on the week. The junior tossed a two-hitter in a 2-0 win over NEC rival Sacred Heart. In seven innings, Rand did not allow a walk, while fanning five batters. In a 2-1 win over Big East foe Rutgers, Rand scattered seven hits, while surrendering one earned run and two walks with four strikeouts. In 14 innings of work last week, the junior posted a 0.50 ERA. The two wins moved Rand into ninth place all-time in wins at Monmouth and seventh place in ERA.
