Schaeffer shot a career-best round of 74 on Monday afternoon, and then won a playoff hole, to come back and win her first career individual title with an 159 (85-74) at the Monmouth Hawk Invitational. Schaeffer’s previous best finish was second place at the 2004 NEC Championship. Three Red Flash golfers, including Schaeffer, finished in the top five.
