Niederhaus posted a .615 slugging percentage and batted .462 with five runs batted in, one run scored, one triple and one walk in a four win week for Monmouth last week. The rookie designated hitter went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the win over Temple. In the opening game doubleheader against LIU on Saturday, Niederhaus was 2-for-4 and in the nightcap, was 1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk. He closed out the week on Sunday with a bases loaded triple against the Blackbirds, finishing the day 1-for-4 with three RBI and one run scored. On the year, Niederhaus is hitting .364 to rank sixth in the conference in batting average and has recorded 16 hits, two doubles, two triples, 11 RBI and six runs.
