Despite playing just under 18 minutes per outing, Atupem averaged 8.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and drained 65.0 percent of his shots from the floor. He opened the week with an eight point effort in a 76-63 setback to Lafayette on Tuesday, then tallied eight points, five boards and two blocks as the Mount snapped a 12-game road losing streak with its victory over Long Island two nights later. On Saturday, Atupem netted eight of his ten points after the break to help lift the Mountaineers to their first triumph at St. Francis (NY) since 1997. On the season, the Newport News, VA product is averaging 7.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and is hitting 51.8 percent of his shot opportunities.
