Chappell makes it two straight Choice Hotels NEC Rookie of the Week honors after recording 14 points, four rebounds, four assists and a career-high five blocks in the Colonials’ 97-85 win over Charleston Southern on Saturday. The five rejections matched the Sewall Center record for blocks by a Robert Morris player, which was originally established by former Colonial Dave Thomas in a 55-41 victory over Marietta on December 8, 1986. On the season, Chappell leads all NEC freshman in four individual categories, averaging 11.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks.
