Nwadike’s ability to dominate on the glass helped boost the Blue Devils to a pair of road victories last week, including an 87-79 win over previously unbeaten Harvard on Saturday. For the week, Nwadike averaged 12.0 points and 13.0 rebounds. He tallied eight points and snared 10 boards in a 69-66 triumph at Binghamton on Tuesday, then followed with 16 points and a career-high 16 rebounds (eight offensive) in the win over the Crimson. The 16 caroms were the most by a CCSU player since Corsley Edwards pulled down 19 against Wagner on February 15, 2002. Nwadike, who on Saturday posted his first double-double of the season and tenth of his career, currently ranks second in the NEC with 10.2 rpg and is 14th with 13.0 ppg. The Jersey City, NJ product is one of just two NEC players averaging a double-double for the season.
