Snyder set two new records in the 200 yard backstroke in a dual meet against Springfield College and Southern Connecticut, which was held at CCSU. Snyder’s time of 2:03.43 in the 200 back set a new pool and school, as well as being a US Open qualifying time. Snyder also set a pool record with a time of 58.65 in the 100 yard backstroke when she led off the 400 yard medley relay team that placed first. Synder also finished second in the 200 free (1:57.11). At last year’s NEC meet, Snyder was named Co-Rookie of the Year. Currently, Snyder owns the fastest time in the NEC in the 200 backstroke by four seconds with her record-setting time from this past weekend.
