Pearson had another memorable performance in a memorable game on Arute Field. One of 13 seniors playing their final home game, Pearson was 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts, including the game-winner in the fourth quarter. The senior, who earns his first NEC Special Teams Player of the Week honor since early this season, kicked field goals of 22, 35 and 39 yards in the all-important contest versus Monmouth. The 39-yarder in the fourth quarter was his second game-winning field goal of 2005 (he also won the game at Colgate). On Saturday, Pearson also kicked six punts for a 39.8 average. He currently leads the NEC in punting average (40.0) and scoring by kick (51 points). The West Caldwell, NJ native is now 10-of-13 on field goals this season.
