Hopper was a consistent offensive force for first place Central Connecticut State last week, which ran its win streak to eight and remained perfect in league play with victories over Quinnipiac (2-0), St. Francis (PA) (2-1) and Robert Morris (4-2). After assisting on Abbey Capobianco’s goal in the 57th minute, Hopper iced last Tuesday’s game against Quinnipiac on a 15-yard blast with six minutes to play. She registered an assist in the Blue Devils’ double overtime win against St. Francis (PA) on Friday, then concluded her week on Sunday with a first half helper and the game-winning goal on a give-and-go off a corner kick in the 64th minute to give CCSU a 3-2 lead over Robert Morris. Hopper, who hails from West Yorkshire, England, is tied for fourth in the NEC with seven assists and ranks second on the team with 11 points.
