Hodges played a big role in Sacred Heart’s first conference win of season over Stony Brook on Saturday afternoon. The freshman defensive back, who also posted four total tackles (3 solo) in the game, halted Stony Brook’s best-scoring opportunity to that point, blocking a 28-yard field-goal attempt on the final play of the second quarter, preserving the Pioneers’ first-half shutout and giving his team momemtum heading into the lockerroom. The Pioneers eventually won 21-14.
