Burnett played a role in both her team’s goals last week as Wagner went on the road to claim a 1-0 win at Mount St. Mary’s on Friday and a 1-1 tie at Monmouth on Sunday to extend its unbeaten streak to three matches. With the game against the Mount scoreless early in the second half, Burnett fed Betty Ann Rogers in the box for the game-winner in the 54th minute. She was the hero against Monmouth when she emerged with the ball following a scrum in front of the net and buried a shot just inside the far post with less than two minutes to play to even the score. Burnett, who hails from Satellite Beach, FL, has two goals and an assist in the last three matches and now ranks second on the team with five points.
