Steffen collects Player of the Week accolades for her play on both ends of the field for LHU. Steffen’s efforts on the defensive end propelled the Lady Eagles to three shutout victories over NEC opponents last week. The stingy defensive line allowed just four shots on goal over the entire week. Steffen also contributed on the offensive end, netting two goals over the course of the week. Steffen added an insurance goal in a 2-0 win over Quinnipiac, which gave the Lady Eagles sole possession of first place in the NEC.
