Gwyther finished first individually out of 301 competitors at the New England Championships to earn Athlete of the Week honors. Gwyther crossed the tape in 16:54, 36 seconds ahead of the second place runner, three-time All-American Lindsey Scherf of Harvard. Gwyther has not lost a race to anyone this season.
