Iosue captures her second Prince/NEC Player of the Week accolade of the fall season after she helped lead Mount St. Mary’s to a 4-3 win over St. Joseph’s last Tuesday. In #1 doubles flight play, Iosue and classmate Whitney Edmonds rallied from a 3-0 deficit to defeat the Hawks’ Nicole Morrison and Jess Swanderski, 8-6, clinching the doubles point for the Mount. Shortly thereafter, she went on to dispose of Morrison, 6-3, 6-4, at #1 singles. Iosue, a Damascus, MD product, has compiled a 4-2 record in dual match singles play this fall.
