Sherrill, the lone newcomer in the starting lineup for two-time defending NEC champion Quinnipiac, claims his second Prince/NEC Player of the Week award this fall after winning singles and doubles matches in the Bobcats’ 5-2 win over Rhode Island last Tuesday. Sherrill earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory over the Rams’ Kyle Duffy in #5 singles play and combined with Andrew Chan to secure an 8-3 triumph at #1 doubles. The Southborough, MA native is now 3-1 on the year in singles and 7-1 in doubles action.
