Rommes came through with one of his best performances as a Colonial in Robert Morris', 38-30 victory over Wagner, establishing a career-high with 12 tackles (4 solo). The junior also registered one of RMU's three interceptions. Rommes pick came after the Colonials took a 31-17 lead early in the fourth quarter. The Gibsonia, PA product registered an interception on Wagner's first play of the drive at the Seahawk 25-yard line. On the ensuing Colonial drive, senior Devin Wilson scored on a one-yard run to give RMU a 38-30 edge. With the Colonials holding a 38-23 lead mid way in the fourth quarter and the Seahawks going for it on fourth-and-one, Rommes teamed with outside linebacker Chad Wengert to stuff the first-down attempt. Four of Rommes’ 12 tackles came in the fourth quarter and marks his second career double-digit tackle game. In four games played this season, Rommes has 21 tackles (8 solo).
