Freeman, a sophomore running back in his first season in college football, had a career day for the Blue Devils in their 56-20 win over visiting St. Peter’s on Saturday night. The 5-11 tailback rushed 18 times for 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the victory, averaging 8.7 yards per carry. The Lowell, MA product scored on runs of 30 and two yards in the first half. On the season, Freeman 356 yards on 63 carries.
