Palko caught 11 passes for 127 yards and a touchdown, in the Red Flash’s 29-27 loss to La Salle on Saturday, to become the NEC’s all-time career leader in receptions. Only a junior, Palko now has 148 career receptions, moving him ahead of Stony Brook’s Londre Blocker (147), who broke the same record last season. The Imperial, PA product, who led the league with an NEC single-season record 82 receptions in 2004, currently leads the conference in receptions per game (8.0). Luke, whose brother Tyler quarterbacks the University of Pittsburgh Panthers, has 24 catches for 294 yards and two touchdowns this season. In 24 career games, the 6-0 wideout has 1,327 receiving yards, ranking fifth in school history and 10th in league annals. Palko earns his first career NEC Offensive Player of the Week award.
