Sciarra earns his second NEC Player of the Week award this season, tossing a school-record five touchdowns passes in Wagner’s 52-25 win at St. Peter’s last Thursday, to move the Seahawks to 3-0 on the season. In his team’s first two possessions of the game, the senior connected on passing scores of 23 and 33 yards before adding touchdown completions of 16 and 28 yards on the final two possessions of the first half. Midway through the third quarter, the UCLA transfer converted a 14-yard pass for a touchdown to set the new school mark. With the Seahawks comfortably ahead, Sciarra sat out the entire fourth quarter and finished the evening 22-of-32 for 298 yards, while linking with six different receivers. The 6-1 signal caller has thrown at least two TDs and completed 20 or more passes in all three games this season.
