Jiles was an all-purpose weapon for Monmouth as the Hawks clobbered La Salle, 65-27, at McCarthy Stadium in Philadelphia. The senior gave the Hawks a 14-6 lead when he returned a kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown midway through the first quarter. On the game, Jiles set a school record with 175 kickoff return yards, besting the old record of 132 set by Eji Maxilom against Lehigh in 1999. His 35.0 yards per return set the Monmouth record for average on a minimum of five returns.
