Bedoya made an immediate impact for the Knights, recording two goals and an assist as FDU posted a 3-1 win over #15 Boston College and a 2-0 triumph over Villanova last week. He came off the bench against Boston College to net the game-winner after intercepting a pass and burying it past the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute, then assisted on Mirza Rusevic’s insurance goal 17 minutes later. Bedoya moved into a starting role against Villanova and responded with his second tally of the year on a 15-yard blast 12 minutes into the second half. A heralded recruit, Bedoya isn’t the first member of his family to star for the Knights as father Adriano is set to be inducted into the FDU Athletic Hall of Fame later this month for his role on the 1983 team that won 21 games and reached the NCAA Tournament.
