A first team all-NEC performer in 2004, Rusevic helped lead Fairleigh Dickinson past 15th-ranked Boston College, 3-1, in its season opener last Thursday. Rusevic tallied a goal and an assist for the Knights, who are off to a 2-0 start after also stopping Villanova, 2-0, on Sunday. Trailing 1-0 against the Eagles, the senior midfielder assisted on the game-tying goal, feeding Donny Mayard to even the score 20 minutes into the opening stanza. With the Knights holding a precarious 2-1 edge in the 69th minute, Rusevic took a pass from Pino Tubito and rocketed a 16-yard shot into the net to seal the win.
