Douglass becomes only the third athlete to earn Rookie of the Week honors this season, after scoring three times and adding a ground ball and a draw control in the Mount’s win over Long Island on Friday. The rookie helped Mount St. Mary’s end the first half up 14-2 by tallying a pair of free position goals in the final four minutes of the first stanza and then capped the contest off with a marker to end the game and seal a 21-4 win. Douglass and the Mountaineers will try to avenge their only conference loss of the season when they take on #4 Wagner in a semifinal matchup on Friday.
