Gordon hit .579 combined last week with two home runs, nine RBI and eight runs scored for Monmouth and posted a 3-1 record on the mound. To begin the week, the sophomore hit a pair of home runs in Monmouth’s first-ever sweep of in-state rival Rutgers, including a go-ahead, two-run blast in the top of the seventh inning of game two. She ended the doubleheader 7-for-8 with seven RBI and seven runs scored. In addition, Gordon went 3-for-5 in a sweep of Central Connecticut State, and sparked a four-run rally in the bottom of the sixth inning of game one, hitting a go-ahead RBI double. She also won both ends of the CCSU doubleheader, throwing a four-hit shutout in the nightcap. At the plate for the season, Gordon is batting .336 with seven home runs and a league-best 32 RBI. As a pitcher, the Hatboro, PA product is 10-6 with a 2.76 ERA.
