Mikita used an eight-iron to ace the par-3, 153-yard 13th hole at Center Valley Country Club en route to an opening round 71 (+1) and a share of the first-round lead. Mikita eventually finished third after a second round 74 (+3). As a team, the Colonials took fifth out of 22 teams at the Lafayette Invitational.
