Dixon won three events for the Pioneers at the University of Connecticut Invitational, setting school records and qualifying for the IC4A Championships in all three events. Dixon opened his day with a win in the long jump, equaling the qualifying standard for the U.S. Junior National Championships with a leap of 7.28m. The rookie then won the 400 meters with a 47.84 clocking, smashing the existing Sacred Heart record of 48.89, in his first ever race in the event, and closed out the meet with a win in the 200 meters (21.75). The rookie currently ranks first on the NEC performance list in the 200 meter dash and long jump, and second in the 400 meters.
