Wynne is the recipient of his second Prince/NEC Tennis Player of the Week accolade of the 2004-05 season and fourth of his career after he posted a 2-1 singles record last week. Wynne opened his week with a 6-4, 7-5 win at #1 singles over Quinnipiac’s Mike Racioppo, a second team all-NEC performer a year ago. He also downed Sacred Heart’s Jared Dye, 6-0, 3-6, 6-3, and fell to all-Patriot League competitor Ty Esler of Lehigh in a three-set marathon, 7-5, 5-7, 6-10. In #1 doubles play, Wynne paired with Justin Seow for an 8-6 triumph to give the Knights their lone win of the day against Lehigh.
