Pasternak, recently named the Prince/NEC Player of the Month for February, claims the second weekly honor of her career after posting a 3-0 mark in #1 singles play and a 2-1 record in #1 doubles action on the Bobcats’ recent Maryland road swing. In a 7-0 win over Mount St. Mary’s, she teamed up with Tina Hoang for an 8-2 victory, then cruised past Katie Muething, 6-0, 6-2. Pasternak picked up Quinnipiac’s lone point in a 6-1 setback to former NEC rival UMBC with a 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 conquest of the Retrievers’ Ale Pedergnana, then finished the week off with a 6-2, 6-1 triumph over Loyola (MD)’s Aimee Nitch in singles and an 8-2 doubles win with Hoang, as the Bobcats cruised to a 7-0 victory.
