Two nights later, Cavalieri scored just five points, but added nine assists and three steals as St. Francis concluded its northern road swing with an 86-76 triumph over Central Connecticut State. Returning home on Saturday, the senior point guard tallied 22 points and eight assists in an 82-77 victory over Mount St. Mary’s. In that contest, he was 4-5 from three-point territory and 8-8 from the stripe. Cavalieri leads the NEC with 2.3 steals per game and 65 three-pointers, and is second in 3PFG/game (2.7/game), third in 3PFG percentage (.433), fourth in assists (4.6 apg), sixth in scoring (15.3 ppg) and free throw percentage (.784), and eighth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.46:1). The prolific distributor from Atlantic City, NJ is also second all-time at St. Francis, second among active NEC players and 22nd in league history with 446 career assists.
