Dixon set four school records and recorded two IC4A qualifiers. The freshman posted the fastest school mark winning the 60-meter (6.88) and the 200-meter dashes (21.91). He also won the long jump with a school record leap of 23’ 3/4", just missing the IC4A qualifier. Later in the day, Dixon leapt 44’ 1/2" in the triple jump, finishing third and taking over the NEC lead in the event, before anchoring a 4x400-meter relay team to a third-place nod.
