With Ulrich’s selection, Wagner has now taken home three of the five weekly rookie awards thus far in 2004-05. On Sunday, Ulrich established a career-high with eight points, and added two rebounds, an assist and a steal in a 62-50 loss at Iowa State. He hit 3-5 shots from the field and 2-3 from beyond the arc in his second start of the season. Ulrich’s trifecta with 7:17 to play cut the Cyclones’ lead to 45-37, the closest the Seahawks would draw the remainder of the contest.
