In her first game as a Northeast Conference student-athlete, Cooley led Robert Morris to a 75-58 win over Akron on Sunday in the Colonials’ home and season opener. The junior college transfer collected a game-high 22 points, 11 rebounds, three steals and two blocks, while shooting 9-for-17 from the field and 3-for-3 from the charity stripe. Showing her versatility, the 6-1 forward also drilled 1-of-2 attempts from three-point territory. Last season at Coffeyville Community College, Cooley averaged 11.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, and seems to have comfortably made the transition to the Division I level.
