Disch is named Rookie of the Week for the third time this season for collecting a team-high 10 tackles, 1.5 sacks and an interception in Albany’s, 35-27 win over Wagner on Saturday. The victory pushed the Danes into a three-way tie for first place in the NEC with Monmouth and Central Connecticut State. In Wagner’s second to last drive of the game, with 1:25 remaining in the fourth quarter, Disch teamed with Trevor DuPont to sack Seahawk quarterback John Sciarra, on third down at the Albany 40-yard line, to force a punt. Disch assisted in holding Wagner to just 44 yards rushing. Disch recorded double-figure tackles for the ninth-straight game and leads the NEC with 102 stops this season.
