Andriola’s second game-winning field goal in three weeks earns the senior his second Special Teams Player of the Week award this season. Andriola drilled a 29-yard field goal as time expired to give the Hawks a 9-6 win over first-place Central Connecticut State on Saturday. The senior comprised Monmouth’s entire scoring output on the afternoon with three field goals, including a 43-yarder in the first quarter, a 33-yarder as time ran out in the first half and the gamewinner. The Union, NJ native became just the third player, since the NCAA began tracking ‘cliffhangers’ in 1971 on all levels, to hit two game-winning field goals on the final play of regulation in the same season.
