Smith earns his third Rookie of the Week award this season, making three catches for a career-high 118 yards and a touchdown in Central Connecticut State’s, 35-17 win over conference foe St. Francis (PA). A junior academically but playing his first season in college, Smith caught a 43-yard touchdown toss from quarterback Scott Dolch in the first quarter, and later in the period, collected a 58-yard pass from Dolch, breaking several tackles before being taken down at the Red Flash nine yardline. The Blue Devils followed with a touchdown to put CCSU up 14-7. On the season, Smith has 23 catches for 403 yards and five scores.
