Tubito was an offensive force last week, scoring three times in Fairleigh Dickinson’s 1-1 week. In a rematch of the 2003 NEC title game, Tubito tallied twice to lead the Knights to a 4-2 win over Central Connecticut State in New Britain on Friday. He netted his first collegiate goal on a 20-yard blast in the 23rd minute to even the score at 2-2. Tubito added an insurance goal in the 56th minute, converting a Mirza Rusevic cross from eight yards out. In a 2-1 setback at Quinnipiac on Sunday, the East Hanover, NJ native scored FDU’s lone goal after breaking free of defenders in front of the net. As a result of his big week, Tubito took over the team goal scoring lead with three and ranks second on the Knights with seven points.
