Schmidt was outstanding for the Knights last week, tallying 58 kills, 41 digs, four service aces, four assists and two blocks while hitting .290. She recorded double digit kills in all three matches at the Cranberry Classic at Rider and posted a double-double in the win over La Salle. Schmidt hit .375 with 10 kills, five digs and two service aces in a 3-0 setback to Navy on Friday. On Saturday, the rookie standout was stellar in the 3-2 win over La Salle, hitting .344 with a team-high 25 kills, 28 digs and two aces. She closed the tourney in a 3-1 loss to host Rider hitting .283 with 23 kills, eight digs, three assists and two blocks. On the season, Schmidt leads the Knights with 123 kills (3.42 kpg) and ranks second in digs with 106 (2.94 dpg).
