Doria finished the afternoon 26-for-50 for 255 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in St. Francis (PA)’s, 17-13, come-from-behind victory over Valparaiso on Saturday. With the victory, St. Francis (PA) has won back-to-back games for the first time since 1994. Trailing 13-3 in the fourth quarter, Doria marched the Red Flash offense 85 yards on seven plays, hitting senior tight end Kevin McCray (Jacksonville, FL/Stanton College Prep) with a 26-yard touchdown pass to cut the deficit to 13-10 with 6:26 remaining. After a Valpo punt in its next possession, SFPA had the ball at its own 22-yard line with 4:35 on the clock. Doria drove his team 78 yards on 16 plays before the Pittsburgh, PA native connected with wideout Luke Palko (Imperial, PA/West Allegheny) from one-yard out for the game-winning touchdown. Doria becomes just the third St. Francis player ever to be named NEC Offensive Player of the Week, joining former Red Flash standouts Michael Hall and Joe Ranft.
