McCormick has already delivered twice in the clutch for the Blackbirds, registering two game-winning goals in the first week of the season. McCormick scored in the 47th minute to lift Long Island to a 1-0 win over Utah Valley State at the UNLV Tournament on August 28, then netted the game-winner (her second goal of the contest) less than two minutes in overtime last Friday in a 3-2 triumph over Rider. Both goals, coincidentally, came off feeds from teammate Allison Andreano. McCormick, a second team all-NEC selection in 2003, leads the NEC with three goals and seven points. She has registered at least one point in each game this season.
