In one of the most dominating performances by an NEC hurler in recent memory, Keeton tossed a four-hit shutout in Monmouth’s 5-0 win over Long Island in the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday. Keeton struck out a school record 15 batters and walked just one in the seven inning contest to improve to 2-1 on the season. It also marked the third complete game shutout in the career of the Middletown, NY native, who has fanned 24 batters in 22 innings in 2004.
