James enjoyed a solid week in which he qualified for the IC4A Championships in two events. He placed second in the 500 meter dash in 1:03.66 and helped the 4x400 meter relay squad capture fourth place in 3:17.66. The 10-time NEC champion last spring earn All-America honors in the 400 meter dash.
