Jr., Marshfield, MA/Marshfield
Competing at the seventh annual Quinnipiac Invitational, Ehle reached the C flight semifinals in singles and was declared co-champion in C flight doubles along with partner Liz Axler. In singles play, Ehle ousted Seton Hall’s Mai-Lils Jogi, 6-1, 6-3, and UConn’s Ashley Petruzzi, 6-2, 7-6 (3), but fell to Dartmouth’s Kerry Snow, 6-1, 6-0, in the semifinals. The Ehle/Axler pairing won both their doubles matches to reach the finals, but were declared co-champs with Darmouth’s Sarah McNally and Snow when rain forced the cancellation of Sunday’s title match. Ehle is the third Quinnipiac competitor to earn NEC weekly honors this season.
