Along with partner Alex Sarria, Wynne won the "A" flight doubles title at the Fairfield Doubles Festival on Sunday. The duo defeated Holy Cross’ David Daepp and Kenton Allen, 8-2, in their opening match and the Fairfield tandem of Colin Torrance and Jonathan Fernando, 6-4, in their second round match. Wynne and Sarria reached the finals by knocking off Monmouth’s Gal Horovits and Chris Sciarra, 6-1. The combo completed their title run with a 6-2 win over the Fairfield team in the finals. A second team all-NEC performer as a freshman, Wynne also secured the Knights’ lone victory in a 6-1 setback to Manhattan on Wednesday, defeating Diego Alvarado, 6-3, 4-6 (10-5), at #2 singles.
