The leading ground gainer among NEC freshman running backs, Harge recorded his fourth 100+ yard rushing effort of the season - all in the last five games - in Central Connecticut State’s 35-28 victory at St. Francis (PA) on Saturday. Harge rushed the ball 21 times for 107 yards and reached the end zone on a 17-yard scamper early in the fourth quarter to give the Blue Devils a 35-14 edge. The two-time NEC Rookie of the Week, who ranks fourth in the conference with 700 rushing yards, needs to average exactly 100 yards over CCSU’s final three games of the season to become the school’s second 1,000-yard rusher in the last two years (Major Cole).
